THE GILES COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY
MAKING HISTORY MATTER.
Please consider donating an hour or more of your time a week. We could really use the help!
The Giles County Historical Society relies on volunteers of all ages, cultural backgrounds, and levels of experience to accomplish its mission to document, preserve, and interpret local history.
Volunteer experiences at the Society range from staffing the Research Center and the reception/exhibit area, museum cataloging, scanning photographs, and data-entry.
Volunteering can be a regular weekly commitment, or can involve specific, activities like the Christmas Open House, or researching and creating an exhibit or a short article for the newsletter on a particular piece of local history.
Please contact our Executive Director, Joseph Yost, at (540) 921-1050 or firstname.lastname@example.org for volunteer opportunities.
